Security information at logon

When you use NemID for the first time after 9 May, a security information box may appear. This security information is safe to run, as long as it is visible that the digital signature from Nets DanID has been verified.

Why do I get this security information?
The technical setup behind NemID requires that an add-on program runs on your computer. Before this add-on can run, the security information gives you a possibility to confirm that the program is being downloaded from applet.danid.dk, and that it has Nets DanID as publisher, which is the company behind NemID.

When you run the program, you may check a box to confirm that you trust Nets DanID. If you do, you will not have to confirm your acceptance every time you use NemID.

This is how the box looks like in Windows
If you are using Windows, you will get an information box telling that "The application's digital signature has been verified". In order to use NemID you will have to click "Run".
If you do not want this information to appear every time you logon with NemID, check the "Always trust content from this publisher" box.

This is how the information look on Mac-computers
If you are using a Mac, then you will get a warning saying that an applet is requesting access to your computer and that the digital signature from Nets DanID has been verified. This request has to be allowed in order to use NemID.
If you do not want this information to appear every time you use NemID, check the "Allow all applets from "applet.danid.dk" with this signature" box.
